2 Hawaii defensive linemen arrested
Hawaii defensive linemen Ka'aumoana Gifford and Kennedy Tulimasealii were arrested Tuesday morning.
According to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser, the two were arrested at 6 a.m. at the house they share.
Tulimasealii, 21, was arrested on accusations of two counts of misdemeanor domestic abuse and one count each of harassment and resisting arrest. He also is accused of two counts of contempt. His bond was set at $5,650.
Gifford was arrested on an accusation of obstruction. His bond was $500.
The school released a statement that said it was "in the process of gathering all the information, while keeping in mind the rules and policies of this university and athletic department." Those rules and policies include a suspension from football activities.

Hawaii coach Nick Rolovich told the Star-Advertiser that "he needed to review the police report" and meet with the school's athletic director before taking action.
Tulimasealii had 63 tackles and 18.5 tackles for loss in 2015. His 63 tackles were good for fifth on the team and he was the team's leader in tackles for loss. His 3.5 sacks also led the team. He also had a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
Gifford had 22 tackles in 2015.
